Material A:
300 gr medium protein wheat flour
100 gr margarine
1 egg
Powdered broth (me: skip)
A pinch of salt
75 ml water (approximately, if it's smooth enough, no need to add more)
Material contents :
250 gr carrots cut into small cubes (boil briefly)
1 small bag of vermicelli (soak in hot water for a while, cut into pieces)
75 gr thinly sliced green beans (boil briefly)
150 gr chicken meat (boiled / steamed, shredded)
5 thinly sliced garlic cloves (can be crushed)
3 thinly sliced red onions
2 sprigs of thinly sliced spring onions
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chicken powder (me: skip)
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp ground pepper
Slice the boiled egg into slices
Vegetable oil for frying
Plenty of oil for frying
Method:
1. Filling: saute the garlic and shallots until fragrant, add the spring onions. Add vegetables, chicken and spices, except eggs. Cook until the water dries up. Improve taste, remove from heat, set aside.
2. Skin: Mix all the ingredients except water, stir well then add water little by little, knead until the dough comes together. Roll it up, let it rest for 30 minutes (I'm making the filling)
3. Divide the dough according to taste, or weigh it so that it is the same size. I'm too lazy to weigh it so I just divided it into 16 and rounded it up. Roll the dough lengthwise then roll it (like making karipap). Roll it into a circle, thin it out. Then fill it with the filling, add egg slices, fold it and stick it together then twist it.
Do it until the end.
6. Heat oil, fry pastels over fire
medium to mature. Lift and serve. Results
